IMPACT
SCHOLARSHIP

In 2025, we provided one Abby Hornung Memorial Scholarship, and in 2026 we will be providing four more to students pursuing degrees in the mental health field.
CARE BAGS​
​
We have provided care kits for staff in mental health crisis units. These kits go to staff members experiencing trauma situations at work or very high stress days, including at PPI, PhilHaven, and Dauphin Connections 24/7 Crisis Center. We also provided personal care items for UPMC’s Children’s Advocacy Center.
BLANKETS & TOYS​
​
We have provided fleece blankets and stress toys, to PhilHaven's inpatient adolescent unit, as well as weight lap blankets and braces to PPI. We have also provided stress toys to Connections 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Center's mobile adolescent crisis unit.
MUSIC THERAPY​
​
We purchased a keyboard for music therapy at PPI, as well as training materials for the PPI staff.
CLASSES​
​
We have co-sponsored two Suicide Awareness Classes with Dauphin County Aspire (QPR – Question. Persuade. Refer).
SNACKS
​​​
We have provided drinks and snacks for mental health staff appreciation events at PPI, as well as for a teen event with the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
